Biblical Block of the Month    New!

Comforting, breathtaking and inspiring are just a few words that describe the popular book “More Biblical Quilt Blocks”. Discover the special meaning behind these time-honored quilt blocks such as Job’s Troubles, King’s Crown and Carpenter’s Wheel. Focal fabrics will be from Marcus Brothers’ Decorative Color and Contrast collection. Fossil Ferns and Marbleous fabrics will be among others that will complete the color palette. 25 blocks from the book “More Biblical Quilt Blocks” will be pieced throughout the 13 month period. A finishing kit will be available and will allow you to set your blocks on point with sashing and three borders for a 104” queen/king quilt. Each month for 13 months pick up your kit that includes enough fabrics for 2 blocks (Month 13 will only include 1 block). A class for Biblical BOM customer will be held every other month if you would like additional instruction.

Block Swappers Club - "Dressed to the Nines"    New!

Each swap will run for a six month period. Each swap has a name, pattern and fabric theme. Participating customers will complete the number of required blocks (12-20) each month and bring them to the store by the first of the month. We will swap the blocks with other participating customers. When you return after the 10th of the month, you will receive all new assorted blocks, all of the same pattern. By repeating this for five more months, you will end up with enough blocks to make a very scrappy quilt! Visit the shop for more information.

Embroidery Hearts Block of the Month    New!

Primitive, folk art style hearts illustrating a different image for each month of the year. These easy to embroidered blocks are stitched with the backstitch and French knot. At the end of the session, you will receive a coupon for free fabric to set your blocks together with your personal color choice. A beginner embroidery class will be held (Tuesday, January 8, 6:00 - 7:30 PM) for those that are not familiar with the basic stitches. Bring your first kit to class! Each month for 12 months pick up your kit that includes pattern, background fabric, Thermore and floss.

Winter in the Garden Applique Block of the Month    New!

Bring flowers to life in this four block qpplique quilt (74"). Use your favorite applique technique to create this lovely quilt. You will complete a 20" floral block every other month (8 months) and one border a month (4 months). Each month for 12 months pick up your kit that includes background fabric (every other month) and fabric squares for applique.
